'Fee Cap' Guarantee
Section 347 of the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Qld) requires that no legal representative may charge more than 50% of the net settlement or judgment (that means after refunds and disbursements) for a Personal Injury matter. Recent changes to this legislation now include barristers fees and outsourced legal fees as part of overall fees. This means we include these costs as part of our fees when calculating our cap.
We will NEVER charge you more than 50% of your total Net Settlement/Judgment in professional fees.
